At the end of this seminar, the Gabonese government intends to improve the national statistical system, through the training of 60 agents of the said system in statistical techniques and by sector, to provide the administrative entities of Gabon with personnel who can work independently in production and to the dissemination of statistics from their respective sectors. Likewise, auditors from sectoral ministries, and public and parapublic companies, thus trained, will be able to organize, integrate and lead the central directorates of studies and statistics or the statistical services of the said entities.
